DAB Water Technology was founded in Italy in 1975, and since then has grown into a global leader in water‑movement solutions. Originally based in Veneto near Padua, DAB has expanded through strategic acquisitions such as Leader Pumps in 1998 and Tesla (submersible motor specialist) in 2005.

With approximately six production facilities worldwide, including five in Italy, and over a dozen sales offices, the company delivers more than 2 million motor‑driven pumps each year, with presence in more than 150 countries.
