Self-Priming Pump Ranges

Calpeda NG/NGL self priming pump
NG / NGL Series (Jet Pumps)

These are shallow‑well jet pumps featuring built‑in ejectors and cast iron (NG/L) or stainless steel (NGX) case materials. They prime quickly from dry start and reliably lift water containing air or gas. Models offer flows from approximately 0.3 to 9.5 m³/h and heads up to 74 m, with power ratings around 0.45 to 1.5 kW. Ideal for boosting water pressure in homes, irrigating gardens or jet‑washing. These units are well suited to clean or lightly dirty water supplies.

NGX Series

A stainless-steel version of the NG pump, the NGX series delivers similar flow (around 0.3–8.4 m³/h) and head (up to roughly 55 m) performance but uses a stainless-steel casing and brass‑alloy impeller. These features deliver enhanced corrosion resistance and sustainability through reduced plastic content. They are popular in domestic water supply, garden, well‑draw and low‑pressure boosting systems.

CA Series (Liquid‑Ring Self‑Priming Pumps)
The CA series employs a star‑type liquid‑ring impeller for smooth self‑priming from dry suction conditions and stable gas‑entrained flow. With cast iron or bronze casings, they deliver flow rates from roughly 0.12 to 2.4 m³/h and heads up to 53 m. These are suited to clean, non‑abrasive liquids containing entrained gas or for flooded suction systems.
A Series (Open‑Impeller Self‑Priming Pumps)

The A series re‑primes itself automatically even if suction piping is empty or only partially flooded. Flows range from about 3.6 to 66 m³/h, with heads up to 33.6 m and power up to around 7.5 kW. Built‑in backflow prevention stops reverse siphoning on shutdown. Suitable for draining basins or sumps, civil and industrial irrigation, or clean/slightly dirty fluid applications with maximum solid sizes of around 10–15 mm depending on model.

Calpeda MXA series self priming pump
MXA Series (Multi‑Stage Self‑Priming Pumps)
Built in stainless steel, these multi‑stage pumps support higher pressure needs with heads up to about 51 m and flows of 1 to 8 m³/h. They self‑prime reliably even after loss of liquid and offer a compact horizontal layout making them ideal for domestic water pressurisation and light irrigation.
