Based in Yorkshire, MyPump Solutions was established with a clear purpose. We’re more than a company , we’re a close-knit team with deep roots in the pump industry. Pumps have been part of our journey for decades, and we’ve come across just about everything – from well-designed systems to questionable installations. We understand that choosing the right booster set, circulator, or water treatment system is about more than just moving water; it’s about reliability, efficiency, and supporting the people who rely on it every day.
That’s why we take a practical approach. We don’t just deliver equipment – we share our knowledge. By keeping things simple and offering clear guidance, we help our customers make confident, informed decisions. Too often, plant room equipment is treated as something to install and forget, but we believe understanding your setup leads to better results and long-term performance.

With 4 decades of experience in the pump industry, Lee has worked with and for many of the world’s top pump manufacturers. As the founder of MyPump Solutions (his 5th pump startup in the last 25 years) he’s driven by passion for delivering innovative solutions and supporting clients across the water sector.
- Hobbies: Competing as a GB Du-athlete, excelling in run-bike-run events.
- Passion: Leeds United – A lifelong supporter.
- Hero: Billy Bremner, whose spirit and leadership inspire him in his own life.
- Favourite Food: Seafood spaghetti, everytime.

Zac is a seasoned professional, serving as Sales Director. Despite being in his mid-thirties, he has over 17 years of expertise in the pump industry. At the start of 2025, he took the big step of co-founding MyPump Solutions with Lee Barker – and hasn’t looked back since. As the primary point of contact for most clients, Zac is always ready to assist with any enquiries or questions.
- Hobbies: Running, with a focus on marathons.
- Passion: Another lifelong supporter of Leeds United.
- Hero: Eliud Kipchoge, whose achievements and mindset are a constant inspiration.
- Favourite Food: Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana, unbeatable in his opinion.

Lydia is a graduate from Newcastle University and is currently studying for her master’s at York University. Lydia has quickly made an impact by promoting our products on LinkedIn and helping us stand out in the industry.

Also new to the team, Bethany is part of our marketing team and the mind behind our blogs, news, and case studies. The content you read and engage with comes straight from her brilliant ideas. She brings marketing and content writing experience from companies like Trailfinders and Trio Media.

Zanzi joined us in January 2024, she still has a lot to learn, but she’s great at building relationships and letting us know when there’s someone at the door. All bark and no bite, Zanzi will be happy to see you.

Phoebe is a massive part of our team, she won’t always be in the office to greet you with a wagging tail and a warm welcome. She works remotely to maintain her work/life balance. When she’s not keeping an eye on the team, she’s busy reading up on our products – or more likely, dreaming about treats and belly scrubs!
